Responsible for the formulation of logical statements of business, and data processing problems and devises procedures for solutions through data processing systems and works at the highest level of all technical phases of systems analysis.
Pay Grade: 57
Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education
1. Four (4) years of experience in programming, of which three (3) years are in system/program development in a large-scale computer system environment; AND
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field; OR
3. An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
4. Experience in OnBase, SharePoint, Project Server, or Workflow development using Nintex is preferred.
5. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
1. Prepares logical statements of business problems and devises procedures for solutions through data processing systems.
2. Gives direction and guidance to other systems analysts and assists junior IT staff with assignments, education, and system knowledge.
3. Works with users to define problems and the types of data to be processed.
4. Ensures documentation standards are maintained and developed for assigned projects.
5. Participates in product search, evaluates information system products, and suggests specific purchases of software and hardware.
6. Reviews purchased software maintenance requisitions for renewal.
7. Directs team in specific software product installation, coding, and maintenance support.
8. Develops policies, standards, and procedures for the use/installation of new software products.
9. Prepares charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.
10. Serves as project manager of specific assigned projects
11. Devises logical procedures to solve problems within the capacity and limitations of equipment, operating time, and form of desired results.
12. Performs other related duties as required or directed.
1. Knowledge of how to apply software and hardware to meet the operational needs of the user.
2. Knowledge of systems and programming using random access and communications equipment.
3. Ability to solve problems as related to systems.
4. Ability to communicate orally and in writing technical and non-technical information for users and management.
5. Demonstrated skills in one or more languages (.NET or JAVA).
6. Knowledge of large-scale computer operating systems.
7. Good writing skills for the creation of operational documentation of software systems.
Must be able to be on-call after hours.
